Established in 1993, Shelton College International has dedicated itself to providing quality MOE-approved coursework that leads to higher academic and professional qualifications.

In its effort to provide excellent and holistic education Shelton has set in place a structure that aims to provide an enriched and differentiated curriculum - one that is broad-based, leading to pathways for special interests and strengths. Our cultivated learning culture is one that harnesses the potential and strengths of each student. In addition, our broad-based curriculum will enable students to develop the requisite skills that the global workplace demands.

The overarching principle in our teaching methodology is to empower students and hone their academic competencies through the acquisition of thinking and process skills. This allows students within the Shelton family to identify, explore and develop their individual competencies in an environment that is condusive to growth. Students are encouraged to explore and discover who they are and who they can be.

Shelton provides ample leadership opportunities for every student to develop his or her potential through activities in our college. Our goal of developing future leaders is further augmented through internship programmes with our extensive network of industrial partners. Moreover, our coursework leads to internationally recognised qualifications, thus offering more options to our students to go global.

Our aim is to enhance the students’ capability in the area of personal development. This is achieved when students participate in specially tailored programmes unique to Shelton’s students who are taught the 3R approach - to Reach In, Reach Out and Reach Up.

Simply ‘doing’ is no longer enough, not when the world is now everyone’s oyster and competition is not just from the neighbourhood but from right across the globe! In whatever they do, they have to always seek to reach for the stars, to endeavor to be the best. They will only achieve the impossible if they live out this spirit of excellence.

Shelton College International has its own sprawling, well-equipped campus, boasting a spanking-new science laboratory, sporting facilities, a comprehensive study library, a multi-purpose event hall and Internet-enabled computer facilities; holding immense opportunities for Shelton’s students.
